About Triple X Motorsport:
Born in 2007 by savvy Auckland businessman Shane McKillen, Technical Director Todd Bickerton, and Team Manager Ian McNabb, they formed a team that is headed by three shareholders – giving rise to the Triple X theme.
As part of its establishment the team recruited the best personnel from Australasia to provide Triple X Motorsport with the ultimate in skills needed for winning races and championships.
Later, in mid 2008, Mike Morton joined the team as a shareholder and brought with him formidable experience in marketing and sponsorship which has resulted in some of New Zealands top brand names coming on board to support them.
The staff of Triple X Motorsport has had the pleasure to work with and support some of the worlds best racing drivers, including: Craig Baird, Greg Murphy, Andy McElrea, Brett Riley, Matt Halliday, Fabian Coulthard, Jim Richards, Klark Quinn, Kayne Scott, John McIntyre, Peter Brock, Paul Morris, Gianfranco Brancatelli, Rob Gravett, Dick Johnson, Steve Johnson, Paul Radisich, Robbie Francevic, Steve Millen, Paul Pedersen, Shane McKillen, Jodi Vincent, Mike Morton, Rodney Forbes, Phil Quaife, David Reynolds, Jono Webb , Andy Knight, Daniel Gaunt, Courtney Letica and many more.

Triple X Motorsport’s aim is to win Races and Championships, especially in the Porsche NZ GT3 Cup Challenge. To compete successfully and dominate in whichever championships we enter.
In its inaugural year the Triple X mission statement of running to the highest level of professionalism resulted in this experienced team taking out the New Zealand GT3 Cup Challenge Championship in 2007 – 2008.
The team won six out of seven rounds with 19 race wins from 21 starts as well as securing fourth and seventh places overall and first and second in the Tissot Carrera challenge for non-professional drivers. Additionally; victory in the South Island Endurance, three race Championship with a first and second placing overall.
That was backed up with a one-two-three finish in the team's second season contesting the Porsche GT3 Challenge Cup series, plus victory in the 2009 New Zealand Grand Prix.
Triple X has some of the best professional drivers, engineers and data analysis people that New Zealand and Australia have to offer. Their experience extends to cover speedway, rallying through to circuit racing. Together, the team use its experience for one-on-one driver education, utilising data acquisition as a tool to pinpoint areas that assist in moving further forward.
